The 7 Chakras System– A Beginners Guide To Your Energy System
Today, almost every alternative healing therapy system revolves round the word “Chakra”. In many spiritual and healing disciplines, the word Chakra is frequently mention.
In summary, the 7 Chakras are believed to be energy centres in our body in which energy flows through. Chakra originates form the Sanskrit language and “wheel’ and is also known as ‘Wheel of Spinning Energy’. The 7 chakras are the major energy centres and there are many more minor ones.
We believe the chakras are invisible, rechargeable batteries. They are charged and recharged through contact with the stream of cosmic energy in the atmosphere. The chakras are centres of concentrated energy which help us to accept, assimilate and give out life force energy). The chakras are also associated with the five elements, Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether which we are made of.
Chakras connect your spiritual bodies to your physical one. They regulate the flow of energy that runs through the physical body and to be sent to every part of the body, where it is needed.
Chakras may be blocked because of stress, emotional or physical problems. If the body’s ‘energy system’ cannot flow freely it is likely that problems will occur. The consequence of irregular energy flow may result in physical illness and discomfort or a sense of being mentally and emotionally out of balance.
